About Me
Ace is a dynamic composer renowned for his work on several feature films. He composed the music for the acclaimed rock documentary "The Lost Weekend: A Love Story," which explores John Lennon and May Pang's relationship during the Beatle's "lost weekend" and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022. He also scored the Bulgarian feature film "Yellow Oleander," directed by Lachezar Avramov, for which he received the Best Composer for a Dramatic Feature Film award at the 2023 Bulgarian Film Academy Awards.
Born and raised in a musically inclined family, Ace's passion for music began early. He started a heavy metal band as a child, which led to an exploration of classical and flamenco music. His fascination with computer production and sound design further fueled his creativity, making film music a natural progression.
After graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he received a writing and composition scholarship, Ace moved to Los Angeles. There, he interned at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions studio. He has since collaborated with Hollywood composers such as Penka Kouneva, Bear McCreary, and Lorne Balfe.
Ace continues to blend his diverse musical influences to create evocative scores, drawing from his background in both traditional and modern music production techniques.
